Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in human-computer interaction, psychology, cognitive science, human factors, usability engineering, or related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree holders or equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Experience in user-centered design projects.
• Expert knowledge of usability engineering and user research methodologies: interviewing, observation, and laboratory testing skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment and strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and excel at core capabilities of user experience through the guidance of management and experienced staff:

• Basic usability methodology
• Coordinate, develop and facilitate usability tests
• Usability lab set up
• Preparation of test plans or protocols
• Conduct usability testing
• Preparation of deliverables
• Presentations to clients

• Maintain excellent client management and communication skills
• Actively acquire skills of a more senior Specialist, including:

• Participation in sales / proposals
• Lead small projects (with supervision)
• Offer process improvements
• Provide peer leadership
